Dollar Days! (No Frills & Sobeys)

Okay, so No Frills is having Dollar Days. Now that I know I do not need any baby wipes for a long time, I will share with everyone... Huggies Wipes Tubs are on for $2.00. Using $1.00 off coupons from Smart Source, or from the company directly, you are only paying $1 for a tub of wipes! What a STEAL!!! Now break out all your coupons and head on over to No Frills for a GREAT deal!

Okay, so thats a great deal.... They have TONS on sale. I went in yesterday (Friday morning) with my sister, and spent about $80.00 and left with 3/4 of a cart FULL... At least we are now stocked up on food for awhile. My freezer is pretty packed!

Also, Black Diamond cheese blocks are on sale there for $3.00. You can use up all your .75 off coupons to make them 2.25 a block. Remember, those coupons EXPIRE ON HALLOWEEN!!! (Oct 31)

Sobeys is also having their dollar days! What deals they have on aswell! TONS of Michelina's on sale for $1.00.  Use up your save $1.00 when you buy 2 / .75 off coupons. (eaquals out to .50 each wub2 or .25 each if you have lots of the .75 coups!

Don't forget the super bonus points on Kraft Dinner Smart pasta. (1.99) use up the .75 coups from Save.ca! 300 points for EVERY BOX purchased. Now I hope my kids really like this, otherwise the food bank will be stocked for KD Smart haha.

Side note, I was in Liquidation World today (in Wallaceburg) and they have Nature Valley bars for $1.50 each (which is a good deal!) and a case of 12 Mr.Noodles on for $3.50. Which is also a great deal considering Shoppers has them on "Sale" this week for like 5.99-8.99? Something like that!

Shoppers Drug Mart 20x Points - Saturday October 22nd!!!

I was SO excited to see this! Another 20x Event!! This is AMAZING! 3 20x events in 1 month!

I've already decided to buy a new camera, and SDM has them on for $74.99. What a great time to buy a new camera! So, my event this weekend will be racking in about 30 000 points. Which will come in handy when I go to finish my Christmas shopping. At the end of this blog, I will post a link to the Smart Canucks website where the Shoppers flyer has been posted, for Ontario, so you can also plan ahead!! Remember you must spend $50.00 before Taxes and BEFORE coupons to get the points! So think think think, and match coupons to whats on sale to bring your out-of-pocket total as low as possible! :)

Sobeys Trip - October 17 2011

I went into to Sobeys to pick up a few things, Came out with a cart full!

Halloween Candy - 92ct boxes - 13.99 x 2 (spend $25.00 get 750  bonus points, thats a $5 rebate!)
Hersheys Halloween Candy - 7.99 x2 (buy 2 get 500 bonus points)
Royale Toilet Paper 12pks - 4.44 x 6 - 1.00 coupons. (even gave one to my dad, he enjoyed his coupon lol)
Coffee Mate Creamer - 3.79 (150, or maybe 100? I forget, bonus points)
Eggos - 16ct - 2.99 (maybe it was 1.99.. I forget lol, )  - 1.00 coupon
Danino yogurt - 2/5.00 (plus free pack of blocks with each purchase) - 1.00 coupons = 1.50 each (2/3.00)

bought a bunch of meat and veggies too, but thats a lot to list... Spent about $85 after coupons , got 1500 points and picked up some OFF spray on Clearance, also some Chicken Stock on Clearance for $1.50 each!

So people in Wallaceburg, check the clearance rack near the milk!! LOTS of deals to be found!! They had Thinsations Bits n Bytes on clearance too, 50% off. I don't like the taste of those, but if you, thats a great deal!!

Small shopping trip - Monday Oct 10th

Went out for a stroll with my Dad & Jordyn.. Started out as a trip to get timmies and milk & bottle liners. Heres how it went down:

Went to Timmies, got our coffees, headed over to Sobeys. picked up some So Good for the girls, and while I was in there, I noticed they had bonus points on Febreze, and OxiClean. I happened to be out of both. Coupons in toe, I cashed out.
So Good Milk - 3.79 - .75 = 3.04
Febreze Fabric Refresher - 7.99 - 3.00 = 4.99
OxiClean - 7.99 - 5.00 = 2.99
Spent under $20, got about 500 bonus points...  (still collecting for Xmas Dinner! at $25 savings right now)

Headed over to Walmart for bottle liners, and Tea for my sister. Walked in, Saw they had Disney rain coats for $1 , so I bought one for Paeton and Jordyn (didn't have any in Lexi's size :( )
Grabbed a t-shirt that says "I love mom", for $3, and a cute summer dress for Jordyn for $3
Went n got the Tea for Danille , it was only $5.97, and she's paying me for it, then to the bottle Liners... $6.97 for 100... pretty good deal. No coupons, but still not a bad trip.

Headed out with Dad and thought I needed Stamps.. Might aswell grab them at Shoppers.
Shoppers had the Vim cream on sale for $1.99 each, buy 2 and get 500 bonus points. Lucky for me, I saw some $1 Vim coupons at Sobeys, Grabbed about 6 of them . So I only bought 2 bottles of Vim Cream, 1.99 each. $3.98 - 2x $1.00 = 1.98 for BOTH. plus 500 bonus points. Which puts me over my points limit for a $200 redemption when its bonus redemption day!! Yay Me. Found a Febreze Noticables refill on clear-out for $3.25. I had $2.00 coupon for it, so for $1.25 I got it. I had cashed in my Free Noticables Warmer coupon at sobeys a few weeks ago, so I needed a refill for it. Grabbed my stamps and cashed out. Grand Total = $12.00 and some change. Got about 520 points that transaction. (normally would have cost $52 for 520 points!)

Pretty decent trip this morning. Best of All... Jordyn Slept for most of our walk, and woke up when we got home. :) Now off to wait for Dee to come get her tea. Hopefully this brings on my nephew, 6 days is along time to wait til his due date! lol

Shoppers 20x Points Event - End Result! lol

So I went to my family thanksgiving today, Fun, exhausting, and interesting!! Stuffed full and over tired, I packed up the girls with Grandma and headed home.

Of course, we stopped at Timmies, then I remembered I needed diapers, and Chris was working late, so Grandma decided she'd entertain the girls in the car so I could run into Shoppers. Here's my breakdown!

4 x Pampers Diapers - 9.99 each (39.96) - 8.00 (2.00 coupons) = 31.96
1 x Huggies Box Wipes - 9.99 - 1.00 = 8.99
1 x Aveeno Bath Treatment - 6.99 - 3.00 = 3.99
Total BEFORE coupons&tax = 56.94
Total after coupons (without taxes, too lazy to grab my reciept) = 44.94 :)

Got about 12 000 points just from that visit, :) ! Yay Me ! lol - seriously, if you don't use Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum, your missing out on a TON of free stuff.... I'm planning to cash out at Xmas for gift sets!

20x Shoppers Points Event

So this Saturday is 20x the points. With that being said, Remember that you can use your coupons to bring the total DOWN below  the $50 mark. I've been planning my trip... I will wait to post exactly what I plan to buy once I get my flyers this afternoon. And I already have to make a 2nd trip there Friday( Tomorrow ) for the Old Spice Deal.
After all, $2.99 for Old Spice isn't a bad deal. My trip tomorrow works out like this:
16 x $2.99 = $47.84 - ($3.00 when you buy 2) $24.00 = $23.84
Works out to $1.49 each. Which is a GREAT deal for Old Spice. So, Chris will be stocked for a long time with lots of Deodorant :).  If your in the area and want some of these coupons, Let me know, as I have TONS and they expire on Halloween!

Club Sobeys, Have You tried it?

Club Sobeys! I love Club Sobeys. Mind you, Sobeys is normally a bit more pricier than most stores, However, with their bonus points, and their regular points, along with the free product coupons I can get, I usually walk out with more in my pocket.

Unlike the Optimum Program at SDM, Club Sobeys gives you points on EVERYTHING you buy. You can use a coupon to make it free, and still get the points for it. I have redeemed a few times already. Now I've decided to save save save them for Christmas (2012).

Sobeys has become one of my favourite places to shop lately. The one in my hometown is pretty good. The staff are usually friendly, and they are very coupon aware!! I never have an issue with a coupon at this store. If you join Club Sobeys, you can opt in for their email program and recieve bonus point coupon offers. It's a good way to rack up the points faster. I always buy the things with the bonus points attached, but only if I have a coupon AND need to buy them!

Swagbucks! What a great search engine! Here's the run-down on how to earn with Swagbucks.

First, you need to sign up, Here,
Next, Download the toolbar. It's SAFE, Easy, and earns! I've been using Swagbucks for over a year, and Let me tell ya... I've earned over $300 in Amazon.ca/Amazon.com giftcards. And for what? Simply searching.
For example. I am on Facebook daily. So instead of going to Google and searching Facebook, or going to my web bar and typing in Facebook.com, I go to my Swagbucks toolbar, and search Facebook. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. However, If you use it like I do, every website I use, I swagbuck search it first. Even my bank! I'll type in its name, and then go to it.
 You can cash in your Swagbucks for Amazon giftcards (Canada has free shipping over $25.00), Paypal Cash (Make sure you have a paypal account!!), Restaurant Gift Cards, Other website giftcards, or even free stuff. I've gotten my kiddies a few sticker packs from SwagBucks. And its not like I'm out of anything by using Swagbucks, Since I'm going to be using the websites anyway. Why not earn a little bit for it? Last year I had Christmas under $500.00 for Three kids, and my (and Chris's) Families. Pretty cheap, but Let me tell ya, they had a TON of gifts! Amazon is fast, Easy and Reliable for Shipping! They don't accept Paypal as form of payment though, so just save your giftcards!! I've had over $150.00 at a time cash out in stuff from Amazon, with 0 $ out of my pocket!!

So, for the first-timers, here is a list of websites you can find coupons on:

- Save.ca You can sign up, and order your coupons. They are mailed to your house, but make sure you check your email for the confirmation, otherwise they won't send you anything!!

- Websaver  Sign up, Select the coupons you want, and they will be mailed to you. No need to check for confirmation, they'll send it regardless.

- Brandsaver Lots of good coupons for all your favourite P&G Brand products! 

- GoCoupons  Not a lot to choose from, but they are for Yogurt, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, etc.
